A wayfarer point is a fast-travel node. Stand on its tile once to
discover it, spend 
Waystones to unlock it, and from then on the
wayfarer menu will carry you there for a few more. There are
21 of them.

Waystones
Unlocking and travelling are both paid in Waystones.
A waystone is crafted at the Wayfarer Shop on Shadow Desert three ways: 9 Event Coins,
6 Ancient Coins or 2 Craft Coins for one stone. Event coins come from the public events
(three each) and the six-player minigames; ancient coins from the Atlantis daily Ancient Exchange (ten pearls a coin, level 26);
craft coins from Nibby’s Scavenge, once a day. Every world boss also drops a waystone at 0.05%, Pupil Alpha at 0.10%.
The paperdoll shows how many points you have unlocked, for everyone to see. Each unlock costs its price in the table and each trip one more stone, so a point you use daily is
cheaper set as your respawn and reached by scroll.
