Trap

A trap is a tile that damages you for standing on it. Traps are not marked on the ground in any reliable way: many have spikes drawn on them, but some have no marking at all.

Some traps are on a timer. They rise and fall in a repeating order, so a corridor of them can be crossed by moving while the tiles ahead are down. The Pain Of An Artist maze is built out of these.
