Stat point
Levels hand out stat points: two a level to level 40, one a level after[1]. Each one you spend is worth a fixed amount:
| Stat | Main effect | And also |
|---|---|---|
| Power | +4 damage | +1 weight you can carry |
| Accuracy | +4 hit rate | +1 evade |
| Dexterity | +4 evade | +1 hit rate |
| Defence | +3 armour | none |
| Vitality | +10 hitpoints | +2 weight[2] |
| Aura | +10 mana | +1 weight |
Accuracy and dexterity are near mirrors: each gives 4 of its own stat and 1 of the other, so a point spent either way is worth 5 between them. Defence is the only one that buys a single thing. Vitality and aura are the two that raise a pool rather than a rate.
These are the same six stats an item or a class gives you: a class bonus and a stat point are the same stat, arrived at differently.
