Shared loot

What a shared drop is.

A drop marked shared in a boss’s table is one every player who fought the boss has a chance at, each at the rate shown. A drop without the mark falls once. The pieces a boss drops are shared rows on every boss.

Bosses use pooled drop distribution: every player who has met the boss’s participation threshold rolls for the drop, regardless of who landed the last hit. Ordinary monsters instead give their drop to whoever lands the last hit (0.4.38). The boss tracker records every hit, and the game tells you whether you were eligible for the roll and why (0.4.09).
