Reporting a player
How reports work, and their limits.
You can report another player for suspected misconduct (“I want to report someone” in the help menu). A report is followed up by message, a player you reported recently is marked as such to you, and a player reported by the community is flagged to everyone as one to be cautious with.
Three limits: you may report only so many players in a day (“You reported too many players today”), you must be at least a certain level for a report to be accepted (the refusal states the level), and the system can be switched off. The shadow guides are the moderation layer reports feed.
Your own standing is the other side of it, shown by the #rep command.
Two directions are kept apart: reporting (reports you have filed) and
reported (reports made against you), each with a daily and a weekly count. Alongside
them it tracks your warnings and crimes, and a standing tier that climbs with the
reports against you: none while you have none, reported once you have any, and
suspicious once there are several. A line like 2/9 (reported) is that
standing: how many times you have been reported against the limit, and the tier it puts you in.
It is not a list of players you reported.
