Puppet Overlord is an aggressive boss of level 60 with 20,000 hitpoints, hitting for 60–120 and worth 1,600 experience. It is found in Chamber Of Pain. It first appears in the notes of update 0.4.51, Hall Of Pain.

Strategy

To spawn him, kill the Creation. When it dies, the Puppet Overlord appears and turns every player into a puppet for a few seconds. After he is killed, the Creation returns 90 seconds later and the fight starts again.

A puppet cannot attack and moves at random until the effect wears off or another player hits it. During the fight he turns a few players into puppets at a time, and while any player is a puppet he is immune. Land an attack on each puppeted player to free them.

He is also immune while more than three other NPCs, Puppet Dolls included, are within about 11 tiles of him. The surest way to end that is to kill three of the four Puppet Masters on the map; drawing him away from the other NPCs works too. He is also immune while he has a speech bubble over his head.
