Marriage

Approval at the Lawyer, ceremony at the Priest, and what each costs.

Marriage runs through two NPCs.

The Lawyer

Both partners need a marriage approval, which costs 500 eon each. Show it to the priest to start a formal wedding. A divorce is also requested here, costs 10,000 eon in registration fees, and removes your partner’s name from your paperdoll.

The Priest

The priest performs the ceremony, and offers wedding options on top of it:

OptionCost
Wedding ceremonyfree
Allow objectionfree
Announcement2,000
Bells before1,000
Bells after1,000
Fireworks3,000
Batmaso’s Approval5,000
Big Giveaway12,000

If a wedding does not go ahead, the costs are refunded.

What stops a wedding

Both partners must be wearing wedding clothes: the White Dress, the Tuxido or the Dark Robes (one, two), made upstairs in the Aeven Dressup Shop by Danny Dressup. Both must also be at the priest together, both need the lawyer’s approval, neither may already be married, and there is a minimum level. The priest can also be busy.

From the update notes

What the developer wrote when this was added or changed, newest first.

Wedding options , 0.4.48

During testing, several wedding-related options were found to be glitching, likely due to several versions by now, including the optional wedding bells and fireworks. These issues have been resolved. Additionally, a new special feature, "Batmaso's Approval," has been introduced. Couples can now hire Batmaso to appear at their wedding for a fee of 5000 Eons.

New: Big Giveaway (wedding option - 48B+): New Items , 0.4.48

Chains will be a rare factory drop: Robots equipped with chains have only about a 1% chance to drop them. Chains will be a weapon with the power of 1-core and serve as a rare crafting ingredient for both the classic EO Flail (Castle Craft) and the classic EO Nunchucks (Anundo Craft).

The 3-petal dress will be sold as a luxury item in the newly added upper floor of the castle, along with roses (which can also be used as weak weapons). The new Desert Raider outfits can be crafted in Josand Town.

The Sabre and Rapier, both classic weapons, will act as alternatives to 1 - 1.5 core-power weapons and will be available for pure Eons in the Castle. They give ironmode players a way to progress their gear without needing to take on semi-endgame bosses.

The new Chicken, Froggy, and Ducky hats are available exclusively from the C&C shop, found inside the newly added Theatre in Aeven.

Mounts , 0.4.44

The added flowers crafts at Florabella serve two purposes. With more colorful options the classic 'wedding deco' aka the ancient EO ritual of covering the church floor with excessive stuff and flowers, has been upgraded with more colorful options . And as you can see, the Bouquetes can be traded with Florabella for a chance to earn a rare random flutter buddy without too much effort.

Class and Quests , 0.4.15

Secondly, the fireworks proved to be a success, prompting us to not expire the item planned for January 2nd, so that the remainder of the firework items could be used on special occasions such as weddings. Of course, Shopbob is eager to sell his firework wares at the next big event.
