Jail

What you cannot do while you are in it.

A character in jail cannot drop items, cannot trade, and cannot use global chat. Everything else about the map still works.

The PK area

The jail sits under Aeven, reached from its classic entrance and by an underground passage from the castle (0.4.48). Its lower floor is the PK lobby, with a wayfarer point for respawning there, and the Jail Sewer below it is the PK zone, entered from any side (0.4.42).

Jail

Admins will put you in jail if you cause trouble or break a rule in Endless Online. In jail you cannot use the global chat. You cannot drop or trade any items in jail either.

What could I put in jail for?

• Representing yourself as 'staff'
• Selling accounts
• Spamming/Flooding the global channel
• Insulting anouther
• Attempting to scam someone
• And whatever is violating the games disclaimer

Note: Jail is puishment not entertainment.

Some people try to annoy the admins to see how 'fun' it will be in jail. Many of them found out that being in jail is horrible. Only admins can release people from jail and the chances of being the online the same time an admin is on is very slim. You may end being in jail for months!

Freeze

Freezing was invented to prevent people from speeding in the game.

What is speeding?

Speeding is a cheat where players can move faster than others and can kill enemies faster.

I'm not using a speeder why have I been frozen?

If a player lags a lot in the game may mistaken it as a speeder, when this happens quit the game completely and come back in. If it happens frequently then try playing another time until the problem has been fixed in general.

Jail Placement , 0.4.48

The jail in Aeven has always felt somewhat disconnected. Let's give the Jail map a more logical placement that fits naturally into Aeven..

• Keep the entrance in its classic location
• Give the jail a more logical position in the world

The east wing now includes a direct passage to the jail, which in turn links straight into Aeven. This creates a convenient shortcut between Aeven and the Castle, improving overall connectivity and offering players a faster route between the 2 hub maps.

Area: Jail Undergrounds (PKZONE): Reworking old maps , 0.4.42

Old details were kept while making the maps more polished and interesting. The goal is to add fun without losing what players remember:

Upper jail floor , 0.4.42

Minor adjustments have been made to the map layout to establish a more direct and accessible route to the lower floor, which previously served as the PK lobby. A club VV or maze-style structure has been placed to serve as the entrance.

Lower jail floor / Pk Lobby , 0.4.42

The lower jail floor, previously used as the PK lobby, has stayed the same to keep its familiar layout. The map has been expanded to fit a new wayfarer point to offer easier respawning to the pk zone. The entrance to the jail sewers, now the main PK zone, has been adjusted to offer a clearer and more logical path.

Jail Sewer , 0.4.42

The PK zone has been changed a lot because the old map was nothing more then a big open space with repeated cross-shaped pillars.

A few cross-shaped pillars been preserved to keep the nostalgia while also letting players enter the PK zone from any direction. This gives players a chance to enter and get ready for battle.

A new sewer tileset has been added with water, pipes and scenery, creating a better pk atmosphere and offering some sneaky spots to hide and surprise other players.
