Gathering

Gathering is harvesting resources from nodes, which sit on fixed tiles. Stand next to one and harvest it, and it yields a set item.

A node carries a number of charges and runs out for a while once they are used.

Tools

• Some nodes need nothing at all, herbs and the like are picked by hand.
• Ore and rock need a pickaxe equipped.
• Logs need an axe.

Fillable containers

Some items are filled rather than gathered: an Empty Bucket placed into a water well comes back as a Bucket Of Water, and one fill in ten as a Bucket Of Pure Water instead^[1]; a cow milked with an Empty Bucket gives a Bucket Of Milk, and the milk machine turns those into milk bottles^[2].
