Bounty board

Daily targets shared by everyone on the map, paid in experience and eon.

The Bounty Board stands in Aeven Square. Every day it posts four to six bounties, each a monster and a number to kill, and every player is tracked on all of them without accepting anything. A normal target asks 20–50 kills, a boss 4–15 (halved in 0.4.45).

Kills are shared

A kill counts for the players present at the target, not only for whoever lands it. #bounty prints your progress, and a banner announces the goal; walk back to the board to collect. Each bounty pays once a day.

What it pays

Experience and eon, and at times a random item such as a healing potion or puffyweed (0.4.28); raised in 0.4.51 and scaled from level 30 to 40; doubled on a Bounty Hunter weekend. A bounty can name a monster the game does not place: #npc with the name shows no maps at the bottom for those.

From the update notes

What the developer wrote when this was added or changed, newest first.

Bounty Board Reward Rebalance , 0.4.51

The Bounty Board is receiving a substantial reward increase for both Eons and experience. While the overall experience gain goes up, it is important to maintain balance during the early game. By scaling the bounty rewards from level 30 to 40, Main Quests will remain a balanced and important part of progression throughout the early levels.

These changes are intended to encourage active manual gameplay and teamwork. Since Bounty Board objectives daily rotate and share progress across entire maps, hunting alongside other players should now feel very rewarding and worthwhile.

Rebalance: Bountyboard , 0.4.45

The bounty board has been rebalanced. The objectives remains the same, but all kill requirements have been reduced by 50%, making all bounty task more inviting, lighter and faster to complete:

Normal monsters now range from random 20-50 kills (previously 40-100).

Boss monsters now require between random 4-15 kills (previously 10-30).

This adjustment makes bounty objectives faster to complete while still offering the same exp and Eon rewards. A more grind-oriented bounty board may be introduced in Hallodale in the future, featuring longer and higher-value bounties.

Bounty Hunter , 0.4.43

For a limited time, all bounty rewards are doubled. Track down specific NPC targets and claim boosted experience, gold, or loot. A perfect event for fast gains and focused hunting together with other players.

Added next reset countdown (1h 10m) to quest/bountyboard , 0.4.29

Attracted 'npc behaviour' will face player direction.

'' Hunt Together ''

The latest update brings an exciting new feature to the center of Aeven: the Bounty Board. Each day, the Bounty Board will offer a set of bounties, which all players are automatically tracked. So there is no need to accept them manually. When completing the bounty the players must return to the board to claim their prizes, which can include experience points, eons, and a variety of random items like healing potions or puffyweed.

One of the key aspects of this new system is its collaborative nature. The Bounty Board tracks everyone in the vicinity of the target, allowing players to work together toward the same objectives. This means that whether you're playing solo or with a group everyone in range is contributing to a shared goal. The introduction of this system aims to foster cooperation and create a more dynamic and friendly environment in Aeven.
