Bard
Fishing up notes, earning Music Books, and making and playing an instrument.
Bard is a skill of its own.
Learn the skill
The skill is taught by one of the two books in the Aeven Library, which is entered from the Aeven Outlet. With it learned and an instrument equipped, right-click the spell for a scale of notes, and play by ear or from written notes.
Collect notes
Instruments are paid for in Music Books. With a fishing rod equipped, sit by the water beside the Bard at Aeven Falls and fish up three Bard’s Notes: when the bobber goes fully under, press Ctrl to reel in. The Bard gives a Music Book for the three. That is the daily quest For The Music[1] (level 30), once a day. The one-time quest Hallodale Jams (level 30) pays five Music Books.
The instruments
The Music Collector on Nostalgia makes the Harp (15 Music Books), the Guitar (20), the Violin (20) and the Saxophone (30).[2]
Guy Metalstring’s Guitar Craft in Hallodale makes the Bass Guitar from a Guitar, 14 Iron and 14 Music Books, for 500 eons.
Bongbong in Monkey King Hall on Monkey Island makes the Conga[3] from 10 Soft Leather, 12 Shiny Coins and 12 Craft Coins, with no books. It needs level 15, is worn in the shield slot and is played sitting.[4]
