Arena and minigames

The player-versus-player events and the party games.

The arena runs rounds in which players are eliminated one by one; the last one standing wins the event, and there are team matches too. A round is delayed while players are still inside, and the arena line is not to be blocked.

The minigames

  • Freeze tag: players are frozen and unfrozen by each other.
  • Laser tag: a sci-fi arena with lasers of unlimited range. Players can shoot each other, but the game is zone control: the game announces a zone, the team that holds it (or pushes the other out on a tie) takes the point, and the most zones wins; the order of zones is random[1].
  • Capture: capture the flag, in team matches of 6 to 18 players[2], with NPCs that help defend the castle by attacking the other team. It is joined from the flag button[3].
  • Wack: whack-a-mole on the Peri Peri farm. Two players compete, whoever whacks the most moles wins[4], and both get experience for taking part. It is joined from the event button.

A game launches once enough players have joined; until then everyone is shown how many more it needs. Skills cannot be used on some of these maps.
